SolidWorks Modelling
This project involved learning a 3D CAD software called SolidWorks. The project allowed me to demonstrate my ability to capture and implement design intent in product design. This project involved purchasing an electric can opener, disassembling it and modelling each piece through the SolidWorks software. Finally I assembled the master model and produced detailed drawing sheets for each part.
This project gave me new skills in 3D CAD design. It has also given me a great insight into the design of products and design intent.
